Mrs Susanne Richmond
Principal Therapist
Sue is the principal therapist at FLS and leads a team of trained, professional counsellors. A clinical member and the Honorary Treasurer of The Association for Family and Marital Therapy (Singapore), Sue has worked in the mental health profession for nearly two decades and has vast experience working with individuals, couples and families. Sue is also an educator and regularly conducts talks relating to counseling and family relationships. Bilingual in English and Mandarin, Sue is involved in the training of FLS para-counsellors and provides clinical supervision for the FLS counseling team.
Mrs Theresa Bung
Senior Therapist
Theresa, is a senior therapist at FLS. She is a member of Singapore Association of Counsellors and an Associate Member of the Association for Marital and Family Therapy (Singapore) and also a member of the Satir Centre (Singapore). Theresa provides counselling to schools and trains and provides clinical supervision to FLS para-counsellors and students from tertiary institutions. Theresa is a certified administrator of the “PREPARE/ENRICH program”, a customized couple assessment which assists couples who are preparing for marriage. Theresa is a much sought after speaker in family, marital and relationship issues.
Ms Catherine Tyrer
Senior Therapist
Catherine is a qualified family and marital therapist and has worked very closely with families, couples and individuals. Trained in psychology, she is a member of the Singapore Psychological Society and the Singapore Association of Counselors. She is a specialist in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Child Therapy, and is professionally trained in hypnotherapy.
Mr Vijoo George
Therapist
A graduate in psychology from SIM University, Vijoo is a trained Certified Reality Therapist and Solution Focused Counsellor. Prior to joining FLS, he served as a programme supervisor at Boys Town Singapore; a counsellor at the Moral Family Service Centre; a coordinator for the Syariah Court’s Marriage Counselling Programme; a facilitator and coordinator for schools’ “Step-up” programmme, a joint effort between the Ministry of Education (MOE) and Ministry of Community Development, Youth & Sport (MCYS), to strengthen a student’s social and emotional resilience, so that parents and teachers can better manage and support them. Vijoo, who is bilingual in English and Tamil, provides counselling services in family violence cases that are referred by the Family Court.
